Dear All visitors, there will be an open interview for Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways in December 2009. Refer to the details below:-

SINGAPORE AIRLINES
Walk-in interview in Singapore.
Requirements:
• Singapore or Malaysian citizenship
• Females who are at least 1.58m; Males who are at least 1.65m in height
• Degree/ Diploma
OR
• At least 2 GCE ‘A’-level credits and 2 ‘AO’-level credits including General Paper in the GCE ‘A’-level examination
OR

On successful completion of training you will commence flying duties.

Remuneration & Benefits:

"I pass my CV to the interviewer.(Please come early as you never expect what will happen on the day itsef)
1. Pass CV kepada interviewer. Masa ni interviewer akan check grooming u all dengan sekali pandang dan akan tanya "Why do you want to be a cabin crew?". So I jawab "Sebab saya minat dan saya rasa dengan apa yang saya ada seperti didalam paper qualification, my cheerful personality, team player and love to travel dapat menjadikan Qatar Airways become the top airlines in this world"

Lepas stage ni anda boleh balik dan mereka akan call anda dalam 5 jam. Kira2 dalam pukul 5.30 u all akan dipanggil (kalau u lepas stage ni)

2. Englist test and Mathematic test, 24 system and 12 hour system. English ialah soalan2 mengenai essay dan past tense and present tense. Mathematic test (24 hour and 12 hour system). Semasa anda sedang melakukan test ini, nama anda akan dipanggil satu2 dan akan diukur ketinggian anda disamping akan melihat kulit anda. Jangan pakai bedak setebal 5 inci sebsb mereka akan ingat kulit anda tidak bersih sebab tu kena pakai make up tebal. Qatar Airways lebih mementingkan natural makeup. U all leh belajar daripada Ms. Mel sebab makeup yang interviewer suruh kami pakai macam ala2 mekap tu. Sila pakai kasut yang tinggi sikit supaya anda dapat sentuh line yang ditetapkan.
Masa diurang panggil tu I telah senyum sehingga ke telinga. Ingat, mereka akan perhatikan anda dari anda masuk sampai la keluar dari dewan. Sila senyum walaupun semasa melakukan test. Ia menunjukkan anda tenang.

3. Group discussion. Punca group discussion ini dibuat adalah peluang kepada anda dapat markah yang tinggi. Saya tidak bagus dalam writing tapi saya bagus dalam speaking.Kepada sesiapa yang bagus dalam writing nilah masanya anda tambah markah yang ada. Kepada yang lemah writing, nilah masa anda buktikan anda bagus dalam speaking. 1 topik akan di petik dan anda kena discuss. Kadang2 topik akan dipilih dan mereka hanya akan ulang 1 atau 2 kali sahaja. Sila jangan tanya interviewer untuk kali ke 3 sebab anda akan dikira tiada listening skill.

Semasa group discussion akan ada pelbagai candidate yang akan tunjukkan skill masing2. Masa tu, I jadi loud and talkative yang teramat. Ingat! Masa ni anda kena jadi competitive sebab hanya ada 1 peluang. Kalau ada candidate yang potong cakap anda dan beri pendapat dia, sila potong balik cakap dia dan utarakan pendapat anda. Masa ni I asyik bercakap saja dan bagi pendapat. Sila baca suratkhabar banyak2 ye...Masa ni I punya topic is "What is the advantage and disadvantage of media?"

4.Masa ni siapa yang lepas akan dipanggil masuk ke pusingan seterusnya. Masa stage ni, sekali lagi group discussion. Group discussion ni lebih kurang macam tadi tapi topicnya lagi berat dan jumlah candidate lagi sikit. Masa ni I dapat topic
1."Apakah yang anda akan lakukan sekiranya ada passanger yang mabuk dan berbuat bising"
2. "Apakah yang anda akan lakukan sekiranya dalam bilik air ada human waste dan anda mendapat tahu ada passanger yang membawa cebisan daging pork di dalam flight?
Masa ni dia ulang 2 kali saja dan tiada siapa pun yang berani tanya semula soalan. Masa ni mungkin 3 orang atau 2 akan keluar dalam 24 orang yang berjaya ke pusingan ini. Seperti biasa, we have to be loud and talkative!!!!!

5. Berjaya lagi, I dipanggil untuk interview yang akan diadakan keesokan harinya atau selasa. Anda boleh pilih hari yang anda senang.Stage yang ini ialah Personality interview (One to One interview). Masa masuk ke dalam hall, sila jangan tunduk dan masa bercakap dengan interviewer, I sentiasa senyum dan melihatkan bersungguh2 dan yakinkan interviewer i really want this job (start selling yourself kata Ms. Mel. I still remember) dan yang paling penting, ialah eye contact. Sentiasa melihat tepat ke dalam mata interviewer tapi jangan nampak macam nak makan diurang la dan pastikan postur and sentiasa tegak . Pastikan anda bergerak 1 1/2 jam awal untuk mengelakkan masalah macam tayar pancit, atau pertukaran dewan interview dan lain2. Hari tu saya sepatutnya datang pukul 2.30 tapi I gerak dari rumah 12.30. (dari Subang tu). Masa I datang je interview nampak hepi sangat i datang awal.

6. I dapat surat mengatakan CONGRATULATION. Okay.....gudluck to u all.."

The course will be conducted by an upcoming make-up artist JayB.
Besides bridal make-up, JayB has done work for Astro "Anak Wayang 2009 Episode 2", RTM "Bintang RTM 2009 Competition Week 6".

Course Name: MAKE-UP & GROOMING CLASS
Duration: 1 day
Course Outline: Make-up for Day & Night (for dinner functions)
Course Fees: RM250.00
Course dates: Any Saturdays and Sundays

Make-up set will be provided but you can also bring your own make-up set.
Your make-up pouch should contains:-
1. Facial wash
2. Toner
3. Moisturizer
4. Foundation (find that matches your skin tone)
5. Face powder (find that matches your skin tone)
6. Eyebrow pencil (black or dark brown)
7. Eyeliner (black or dark brown)
8. Eyeshadow (whatever colour you like)
9. Mascara (black)
10.Blusher (Not too pink or red)
11.Lipliner (find that matches your lipstick's colour)
12.Lipstick (whatever colour you like)

There will be a Walk-in Interview for AirAsia Flight Attendant position.

DATE: 18th July 2009
VENUE: AirAsia Academy Sepang
TIME: 9am to 4pm

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Male & Female (Malaysian)
  • SPM with credit in English and Bahasa Malaysia or equivalent
  • Age: between 20 and 35 years old
  • Male: Height minimum 170cm, maximum 183 cm barefoot
  • Female: Height minimum 157cm, maximum 170cm barefoot
  • Eyesight: 6/9
  • Good communicational skills
  • Happy, fun personality
  • Fluent Spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • 1 recent colour passport size photograph
  • 1 recent colour full body photograph (post card size) (3R)
  • Post vacancy for all nationalities

The following are the FAQs for the Cabin Crew Interview Preparation Course:-

Q1. What is the duration of the course?
We understand that most of the attendees are either working or studying, therefore the course will only take one day.

Q2. How much is the course? And when do I make the payment?
The course fee is RM180.00 per person. Upon confirmation of your attendance, the payment is to be made CASH, during registration, on the training date itself. Failure to pay the fees, you are not allowed to attend the training. Payment by cheques, debit cards and credit cards are not acceptable.

Q3. Do you give discount?
For the month of July 2009, we are having "Bring-A-Friend Promo". Bring one friend to attend the course and both of you will only need to pay RM130 per person.

Q4. Where is the course location?
Our training centre is located in Kota Damansara (near IKEA Damansara).

Q5. What are the topics covered during the course?
Some of the topics include - An insight into a local airline company, First impressions matters, How well do you know yourself, Self-sale, Verbal & Written communication skills, Tips to answer the commonly asked interview questions, Grooming tips from head-to-toe, Resume & Cover Letter, Mock Interview, Boost your level of confidence.

Q6. Will there be a certificate given upon completion of the course?
Yes, there will be Certificate of Attendance given to all attendees.

Q7. What should I bring when attending the course?
You need to bring your updated Resume and a sample of a cover letter. You are required to dress up in your full interview attire.
